Website Launch Checklist for Small Businesses: Test Before You Announce
Design and engineering editorial team
A small business website launch checklist for content, mobile usability, forms, analytics, search access, security, ownership and post-launch monitoring.
Your website can look finished while its most important job is broken. A contact form may send to an old inbox, a mobile menu may hide the booking button, or the live site may still carry a staging noindex setting. A short launch test with named owners catches these problems before you send visitors to the site.
Verify business facts, calls to action, mobile use, forms or checkout, page speed, search accessibility, analytics, security and account ownership. Test the real live domain after deployment, not only a design preview. Keep a record of who checked each critical item and who will monitor it after launch.
