Shopify

1. Shopify Store

Direct Manual Mode (OAuth 2.0)

Production Endpoint Verified • $0 Setup Fee • Instant Auto-Publishing

Why Manual Mode? Shopify charges an upfront registration fee to publish apps publicly on the Shopify App Store. Manual Mode gives you full, unrestricted API read/write access directly to your own store for $0 with no review delays.
01

Create Your App in Shopify Partner / Dev Portal

Log in at dev.shopify.com with your Shopify merchant/developer account.

1. In the Dev Dashboard, click Create app.

2. Set the App Name to Gavior Orbit.

02

Configure Scopes & Production Backend URLs

In the app sidebar, select Versions → Create version (or edit the active draft):

Production App URL
https://orbitbackend.gavior.in

Must use HTTPS with Cloudflare SSL. Never use localhost in production configuration.

Allowed Redirection URL(s)
https://orbitbackend.gavior.in/connectors/shopify/oauth/callback

Shopify redirects the OAuth token exchange back to this callback endpoint securely.

Required API Scopes
write_content, read_content, write_products, read_products, read_themes

Paste this exact comma-separated scope string into the Access Scopes field.

☑ Check:"Use legacy install flow" — required for direct custom merchant token authorization.
☐ Uncheck:"Embed app in Shopify admin" — uncheck this box to allow seamless popup verification.
Click the white Release button in Dev Portal to activate the version.
03

Copy Client ID & Client Secret

In the left sidebar of your app, click App settings → Credentials.

• Client ID: 32-character hexadecimal key (e.g. 578fda669f5c...).

• Client Secret: Click Show secret and copy (starts with shpss_...).

04

Install to Store & Finalize Connection in Orbit

One-time merchant authorization and automated token exchange.

1. In Shopify Dev Portal, click the </> Select store to install button (top right) and choose your store.

2. Accept the permission prompt to grant article and product management permissions.

3. In Gavior Orbit, navigate to Sites → Connect New Site → Shopify.

4. Enter your Store Domain (yourbrand.myshopify.com), Client ID, and Client Secret.

5. Click ⚡ Auto-Generate & Verify Access Token. Once the green Token Active badge displays, click + Connect SHOPIFY Node.

WordPress

3. Custom Database

PostgreSQL / Supabase / Neon

Direct Table Insertion • Compatible with Next.js, Remix, Astro & Custom Apps

Supabase Ready
For custom web applications (like Gavior’s own landing architecture), Gavior Orbit inserts structured SEO articles directly into your SQL database. Your frontend queries the table natively with zero overhead.
01

Create or Verify Your Articles Schema

Run this standard migration in your database query editor (Supabase SQL Editor / Neon Console / psql):

CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS blogs (
    id SERIAL PRIMARY KEY,
    title VARCHAR(500) NOT NULL,
    slug VARCHAR(500) UNIQUE NOT NULL,
    content_html TEXT NOT NULL,
    summary TEXT,
    featured_image VARCHAR(1000),
    meta_title VARCHAR(255),
    meta_description TEXT,
    primary_keyword VARCHAR(255),
    tags VARCHAR(500),
    status VARCHAR(50) DEFAULT 'published',
created_at TIMESTAMP WITH TIME ZONE DEFAULT NOW()
);
02
